The replacement tank LRA is designed for Toyota Land Cruiser VDJ79 and GDJ79 Double Cab 4WD. With its capacity to 180 liters, It replaces the original main fuel tank to increase fuel range for long-distance travel, expeditions, off-road driving, and travel in remote areas. This increased capacity allows you to carry more fuel without relying on jerrycans or external storage solutions.

This tank replaces the original tank, retaining the original filler neck, exhaust, and spare tire. The instructions specify reusing the vehicle's existing pump/gauge assembly and adapting the float arm to ensure proper fuel level indicator operation. Installation requires no modification to the exhaust system.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application to optimize available volume while respecting the chassis's mechanical constraints. The tanks LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

We also do use the pickup in the forest, with brushes and stumps on its ways. So, we decided to replace the original skid plates with something sturdier. Almont4WD skid plates are sturdier than the original, definitely! All vulnerable parts are covered, there is one plain level from front to back, with no screws sneaking and ready to be torn off. The parts are to mount easyly, and vehicle maintenance still is an easy job, too. Almont4WD is an excellent choice for the one who need the ultimate skid protection.
