The replacement tank LRA This tank is designed for Ford Ranger PX models from 2011 to 2022 and Mazda BT-50 models from 2011 to 2020. It replaces the original fuel tank and increases the fuel capacity to 140 liters. The standard filler neck is retained, as are the original exhaust and spare tire location.

This configuration increases the vehicle's range without altering its core functionality. It is suitable for long-distance travel, business trips in remote areas, and off-road use. The tank is also compatible with 2WD High-Rider models. It is not compatible with the Mazda BT-50 MY21.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application. The goal is to optimize the available volume while respecting the mechanical constraints of the chassis, filling system, exhaust, and transmission.

The reservoirs LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffles to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests, several quality control checks, and trials on heavily degraded tracks. These validations verify their resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, and impacts associated with off-road use.

Assembly is estimated to take approximately 3 hours. If a flatbed is installed in place of the original tipper body, the filling system may require modification. This may result in additional labor time.

We also do use the pickup in the forest, with brushes and stumps on its ways. So, we decided to replace the original skid plates with something sturdier. Almont4WD skid plates are sturdier than the original, definitely! All vulnerable parts are covered, there is one plain level from front to back, with no screws sneaking and ready to be torn off. The parts are to mount easyly, and vehicle maintenance still is an easy job, too. Almont4WD is an excellent choice for the one who need the ultimate skid protection.
